Andrew Rigby

Oh and we are reminded of poor Andrew Rigby - sole director of Optima and of course also a director of Citizens Against Poverty.

Who could forget the newspaper report of his gut wrenching testimony during the Liquidators Examination:

"Rigby yesterday told the Victorian Supreme Court he had never seen or signed the student housing agreement between Mr Landeryou's company Optima and the now-defunct Melbourne University Student Union, despite the signature above his name.

Mr Rigby, who is a casual worker with a milk manufacturer, said Mr Landeryou had helped him with a Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union campaign by donating office space…

``Essentially, he asked for a return favour (to become the sole director of Optima) on the premise that it would lead to a job to get me out of casual work, but nothing eventuated,'' Mr Rigby said.

He said he had no part in negotiations with MUSU about the deal and eventually spoke to Mr Landeryou earlier this year asking to have his name removed as director of the company.

``I told him I didn't want to be involved with this any more. There was no involvement. There was nothing, only promises he had offered.

``It had gone on too long and I didn't want any liabilities ... and now it has come to this.''

And so it goes...

Please do.

I posted on Landeryou's site yesterday afternoon asking about some of the info listed here and well, inexplicably, it disappeared and I appear to be unable to post again. LOL!

If he had nothing to hide...
